Guild Policy & Code of Conduct
General Code of Conduct
[Violations may result in removal from guild.]
1. You must treat all guildmates with respect.
2. You must refrain from using excessive profanity.
3. You may never use racial slurs or similar derogatory statements.
4. Do not engage in activites to the detriment of your guildmates (scamming, begging, stealing, etc.).
5. Do not drop out of a raid group mid-raid without any kind of explanation. The exception to this is if you disconnect. (Example: During DS a previous member dropped out after a wipe and went to rant on general chat. This member was immediately expelled.)
Guild Vault Conduct
1. Initiates do not have vault access. You must demonstrate some dedication to the guild before you can access our stores. However, if you need something from the vault, please ask an officer and we will be happy to negotiate.
2. Please do not put poor quality items (gray description color) in the guild vault.
3. Please do not put consumables such as food items into the vault that do not provide a buff, or are obtainable via a vendor.
4. Be mindful of the tab names and please place items accordingly (i.e, do not put gear in the food tab).
5. The last tab will be reserved for officers and will contain more rare or valuable items as a safety precaution. If you are not an officer and find something in that tab you need, contact an officer and ask first.
6. Do not steal from the guild vault to put extra gold in your pockets.
Ranks and Promotions
Initiate - introductory rank, no guild vault access, but has a small repair fund. To receive promotion we suggest using guild chat to communicate with your guildies on a regular basis and in a civilized manner.
Member - Has guild vault access. These are members who frequently communicate with the guild and may take part in some guild activities. We invite all members to join the guild forum site or the Facebook group for quicker updates on guild activities.
Veteran - These are members who have spent some time with the guild and have demonstrated that they are helpful and contribute on a consistent basis.
Officer - May promote and invite members and has access to the final (officer) guild vault tab. Officers are those members who have high levels of contribution to the guild. Most officers also post in the guild forum or Facebook group on a regular basis.
Alts & Leaves of Absence
1. If you have alts in the guild, please identify them in your guild note or have someone do it for you if you aren't of rank high enough to do so yourself.
2. Inactive members for more than 4 months will be removed unless you notify the Guild Master or an officer prior to your leave.
Complaints
Violations of the code and/or problems between members must be reported to the Guild Master and/or officers for review.
Raid Events
1. Raid leaders will post the event on the in-game calendar and list the raid name and any desired restrictions and/or requirements.
2. The Raid Leader will determine who will participate and if members meet the minimum requirements for the raid. Signed up tanks and healers always take priority, then signed up DPS who meet the minimum requirements.
3. Raid participants must have the Deadly Boss Mods addon installed and functional.
4. Mumble is a Ventrilo-like voice communication software. It is highly recommended for a better raid experience. Please see the Mumble Setup page for more information.
5. Anyone may post and lead a raid event - have fun and take a chance, post it and they will come!
